Long known for auctioning fine wines, Sotheby’s has just announced the launch of its Vineyard Collection of Canadian wine estates through Sotheby’s International Realty Canada. The property collection will debut with estates throughout the Okanagan Valley wine region, which extends for 8,000 square miles in south-central British Columbia, about a four-hour drive from Vancouver. The region offers more than 120 vineyards and four annual wine festivals, as well as an array of estate homes nestled within the idyllic countryside. There are currently 30 properties in the Sotheby’s Vineyard Collection, including the 13-acre Holman Lang Vineyard Estate, which overlooks Skaha Lake and is offered at $1.7 million, and the 17-acre, $4.5 million Mistral Estate Winery, which is located in the foothills and produces approximately 55 tons of grapes per year.
