This past May, Nantucket Island Resorts completed its first phase of 25 whole-ownership White Elephant Hotel Residences. Located down the street from the landmark White Elephant Hotel, the one- to three-bedroom cottage-style residences are within walking distance of the harbor and downtown and include fireplaces, artwork by local artists, kitchenettes, bathrooms with blue-marble vanities and freestanding tubs, and the hotel’s signature white-elephant pillows. A total of 66 hotel residences, all featuring a modern yet classic Nantucket architectural style, are planned, with the next phase being released later this year. Pricing starts at $1.5 million.
