One of four adjoining areas that make up the Aspen/Snowmass ski
resort, Colorado’s Aspen Mountain has much to offer its visitors: powder,
challenging slopes, and a gondola that takes riders from downtown Aspen to the
top of the mountain. One of the newest additions to the Rocky Mountain resort is
this 9,076-square-foot, seven-bedroom wood-and-stone chalet designed by local
firm Charles Cunniffe Architects. The ski-in/ski-out residence has private
access to the mountain, although its hot tub, home theater, gym and sauna, and
three fireplaces may keep some visitors from venturing out.
